| Bought a House with a ADT Smart Security panel already installed - not really keen on using ADT Posted: 16 May 2020 09:07 AM PDT So we just closed on a house and come to find out that the prior owners had the ADT smart security panel installed. Panel Version: 01.004162-000. I've done some research on if we should go with ADT and it's gonna be a hard nope! The prior owners only left one user code for it and I'm afraid of rebooting the system and removing the panel. They didn't care to share any other information about the panel operation. Is there any way to convert the system or is it stuck with the ADT program? We rather get our own DIY system to cater to what we need. Please advise.
