| Posted: 09 Aug 2020 11:15 AM PDT Hey everyone. So when I was younger (15 years ago) my parents made me go to a mental hospital for a week because I was depressed and not doing anything really. Since then I live on my own and support myself, and just am in a better place. But because of the stay , from what I've read online, I'm a prohibited gun owner for life now. Are there any alternatives to a gun that I could quickly use that are lethal if someone were to break it? Thanks for any suggestions [link] [comments] |
| Qolsys/Alarm.com Takeover Problem Posted: 09 Aug 2020 03:55 PM PDT I have a Qolsys IQ Panel 2+ Power G system. I'd like to leave my existing alarm monitoring company and move to another. I'm out-of-contract and my existing monitoring company says the panel is completely unlocked, so I can take it elsewhere. But when I asked a new monitoring companies to take it over, they told me that all Qolsys IQ Panel 2+'s are permanently locked to the first monitoring company that activated it with no way to unlock it. Is this a situation where basically the new monitoring company doesn't wanna deal with a takeover or is it really true that these panels are locked upon the first activation? If the latter, is it a lock based on programming, SIM card, by serial number in some Alarm.com database, or something else? Thanks. [link] [comments] |

I don't know the password for the keypads. What's the best thing I can do with these things? [link] [comments] |
