| Doorbell camera perpendicular to entry way Posted: 22 Mar 2020 06:48 AM PDT Hello, My wired doorbell is oriented perpendicular to my front door, meaning while facing my front door you would reach out with your left arm at a 90 degree angle to ring it, rather than it being directly in front of you. I'm looking to add a doorbell camera and I'm wondering if there are any accessories or specific cameras that I should be looking at that that would help to expand the view. I'm concerned that the camera won't have enough of an angle to give me notifications when someone approaches. Thanks. [link] [comments] | ||
| Hardening doors and windows around the home? Posted: 22 Mar 2020 06:12 AM PDT I'm looking for something to supplement our deadbolt... Would something like this be helpful? Also any suggestions for windows? We have several windows that are street level -- none of the neighbors in our area have bars, and I really don't like that aesthetic... any other good ways to secure them that also look good? Thanks!
