Indoors 4G security camera with backup battery

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 11:21 AM PDT

    Hello,

I'm looking for a camera that support 4G , and backup battery.

It will be always connected into power source, but in the event of power shortage I would like to make sure it stays on (with batteries)

If it also supports WIFI as main connection and 4G as a back it's even better.

    Thanks!

    Mock CCTV Setup

    Posted: 28 Mar 2020 05:56 AM PDT

I work in a Security Console Room/Security OperationsCenter. My major roles are monitoring CCTV systems, Fire/Life/Safety programs, and employee card/door access. We are rolling out some training ideas whereas our security patrol officers and us can better bridge some communication gaps when an emergency happens.

We have rented out an old empty building to do some role-playing/training with our CB Radios and what not, but I would like to implement some sort of local CCTV network in the mix.

My question is, what would be the best, cheapest, and easiest way to have 2-4 cameras randomly placed, so that the "CCTV reviewer" can watch the role-playing officer onscreen, and react as if it were a real situation? There would be NO INTERNET, but I want some streams to appear on a pc for the operator to view. They don't have to be PTZ, just something to represent our real Camera/NVR system at the office. Management mentioned setting up GoPro's, but I dont think they have that capability.

    TIA !!!

Which handgun to keep in rapid access safe? Walther P99AS or Jericho 941

    Posted: 27 Mar 2020 09:37 PM PDT

I own both these handguns and I'm trying to decide which one to keep in my rapid access safe at home in case of emergency situations. Which one is better suited to this situation? Why would you choose one over the other? (Striker vs hammer) I have 2 x 10 Rounds mags loaded with Home Defense controlled expansion rounds is there anything else recommended. Laser or flashlight?
