Someone shined a spotlight at my house at night? Posted: 14 Aug 2020 08:51 AM PDT Hello, Neighbor came up to me this morning and said last night, around 10:30 pm, someone came up the street, parked on the other side of the street from me, and shined a spotlight that lit up the front of my house for about 15 minutes, then left. She said she noticed as she was going to bed because my house was so lit up. They also left on their own, she didn't approach them or call police. What's the angle here? Should I expect another visit? Any idea what the goal is here? The only thing I can think of it was like a check to see if anyone was home but then they didn't do anything? Any advice is appreciated. Nobody got the plates. [link] [comments] |
What is a decent hidden camera for my situation? Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:52 PM PDT Hi, I have been thinking about doing this for a while now, just never have gotten around to it. My roommate has been stealing food and stuff out of the garage for the entire time he has been here. I have asked my other roommates to help kick him out but they won't do anything. He just hit around the $700 mark for things being stolen (oddly enough it was a mayonnaise squirt bottle that tipped him over), at least on my end and I'm tired of it. This is legal where I am, at least in the situation we have. There is no privacy in common areas here so it's 100% legal. I do have a plan to get him out but I need a decent hidden camera, preferably wireless, in order to pull it off. He has stolen gloves, zip ties, jackstands, cleaning supplies for my car, lightbulbs, fitness gear, 100s of dollars worth of food, probably some stuff I don't know about, but most importantly, he's stolen hours and hours of my time by causing me to look around for my stuff (I have a serious OCD when something is out of place and will look for it for hours on end, even if I know it's not there) like some kind of idiot. Any help is very appreciated. [link] [comments] |
