QNAP Surveillance Station + Wyze Cam (modified RTSP firmware)

Wyze Cam with RTSP firmware is working on Synology NAS with Surveillance Station. Is this the same software as Surveillance Station on QNAP NAS ? When I go to add camera, I have to select from drop-down list of compatible camera brands/models. In Synology, it allows to select "User-Defined" and then manually configure with IP address/ USER/Password/ PORT/ETC... but in QNAP version, there is no option for either Wyze Cam or user-defined/manual config.

    * BTW, I'm new to QNAP. We just switched over from Zyxel NAS for this very feature. It would be a shame to have to return this device already, scrap QNAP and have to go over to Synology. :(

    Please advise.

    thank you,

Any off market NVR software with Nest Cam like history?

    Posted: 10 Jun 2020 12:18 PM PDT

    Hi,

I have 8 POE camera's. I have tried different softwares and havent found a NVR software that has an app that will show nest camera like history where you scroll through timeline and it shows timelapse of what happened. In my nvr software if i scroll it tries to buffer and starts to play at new sequence. doesn't show timelapse.

VMS with the best iOS app interface? (with fast scrubbing timeline with highlighted motions, similar to a nest UI)

I'm looking for the best system for my Axis cameras to be run on a windows server with gigabit upload speeds. I've given Blue Iris a try (though I can't try out the iOS app even though I bought it because my windows copy is a trial), Xprotect essential+, and Axis camera station. Xprotect was a major disappointment with the iPhone app only having fast forward/rewind, or a select date option. Most users are going to be using the app and not viewing on a computer. Camera station is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, with scrubbing and everything, but I'd like to see if other software has a similar experience before spending $1000 on software.
