Best overall home defense shotgun? Posted: 31 May 2020 02:16 PM PDT I'm in the market for a defense shotgun. I was looking at the Remington TAC 13 V3, but I've heard Remington isn't as good as it used to be. Someone suggested the Mossberg 500 Tactical. It is $500 less than the Remington. The only downside is it being pump and not semi auto. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks [link] [comments] |
Any alternative Synology Software without 'per camera licenses'? Posted: 31 May 2020 05:24 AM PDT Hi all, I'm looking at moving from my nest cameras (subscription based as we know) to utilizing my existing Synology NAS along side some Wifi IP cameras. However, looking into it, it seems the software offered by synology 'Surveillance Station' only allows for 2 cameras and then you must purchase more licenses to add more cameras (which I find ridiculous personally, since I've already purchased their NAS, so it's now my hardware doing all the hard work with the cameras... so what exactly is the Lic for?)... Anyway, does anyone else know of any other software (perhaps through docker or something) that I can use on the NAS with IP Cameras? I'd love for something like NetCam Studio or Blue Iris to be available, but it looks like they're windows only. Any help would be appreciated! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 May 2020 05:53 PM PDT I've been to three different safe shops in the last two days. I've got it down to the following in basic paint colorations:
All with electronic locks, power, lights, dehumidifier, jewelry box, door organizer, corner bolts on the Fort Knox, and handle on the AmSec and Fort Knox. Budget is $5-6k and the AmSec is kind of over budget. They all have their individual pluses and minuses such as:
I've been told by all three salesmen that I'll be happy with any of the three companies. Leaning more towards Liberty because of their excellent warranty and better overall shopping experience (large showroom with all models on display). How did you decide on what to get? Thoughts?
