Home security: ISO sound activated security?!

    ISO sound activated security?!

Here's the issue. I live in the middle of a decent sized property. And two of my neighbors are great. The third was awesome too, but I'm afraid they are currently suffering from mental illness. They yell profanities and hate from their property (200 yards away and through trees) It's loud enough I can clearly hear it and he calls me by name during the rants. I have never responded. I just quietly go inside and shut the door. But I'm a single mom with two kids. I have never seen him on my property but I want to be able to monitor the situation closely - is there a system I should look at that is particularly good at recording his yelling/sound triggered? Thanks in advance.

Is this a good deal for an outdoor home security camera?

    Here's the Slickdeal

I know you guys get asked this often, but hopefully I'm an easy case. I'm just looking for one good camera that points down the driveway (which is perpendicular to the front door so not sure about a doorbell cam).

I'm usually good at doing my homework and figuring it our on my own, but I'll admit that all of the tech jargon and options have gotten the best of me and I feel lost. I don't want to pay monthly, and prioritize good build quality, good picture quality, and night vision, and ease of install/use... probably no wiring.

The thing I'm most confused about is the software and storage. I'm competent with computers, but no electrician or software engineer.

I've heard that ring and nest etc aren't the way to go, but is there a descent option for someone looking for just a one-cam easy system?

What are your recommendations for an outdoor and battery powered surveillance camera?

Wanting to keep an eye on traffic going past the driveway, and because of the distance between the road and the house I am looking at a battery powered option.

I have heard of people using trailcams for basic surveillance but I'm unsure that would even work. A camera that requires an internet connection would be alright though I would prefer if it recorded to internal storage. I would like to keep the cost of the camera under $100 USD if possible.

Is there anything around that price point which is decent or do I need to reconsider my budget?
