| Questions I cant find about Qolsys systems. Posted: 29 May 2020 06:00 PM PDT My wife and I want to install a basic home security system that we can add-on if our needs grow. We are interested in the Qolsys but not sure about a few things and hoping this subreddit can help. If we install it, are we tied to only Alarm.com to manage it? We like the added thermostat function (mainly wireless control) but weren't sure how well rated the thermostats are and if we were cut service with Alarm.com would it "brick" the thermostats and only allow us to manually change them instead of through an app. Is installation easy for someone mildly challenged installing a chandelier? Is the cellular feature a one and done purchase or subscription based? Thank you in advance. [link] [comments] |
